About myhair.health
myhair.health independently researches hair-growth devices. We verify every price against the manufacturer's feed, cite the trials, and disclose our commission.
myhair.health is an independent research site covering hair-growth devices, laser caps, red-light helmets, and the therapy behind them. We exist because the hair-loss market is unusually good at obscuring simple facts, and because those facts are worth several thousand dollars to anyone shopping in this category.
Why this site exists
Search for a laser cap and you will find coupon aggregators listing expired codes, review sites that rank whichever device pays best, and before-and-after photo galleries that prove nothing. Meanwhile the actually useful information, that iRestore’s “bundles” save you exactly zero dollars, that the therapy shows nothing for four to six months, that the gains reverse the moment you stop, and that none of these devices work on a scalp that is already bald, is nowhere to be found.
So we publish that instead.
What we publish
Two things, mostly. First, device analysis grounded in verified prices and published clinical trials: what a device costs, what it emits, what the evidence says the therapy does, and who it will not help. Second, the underlying research, written so it is actually readable, how red light therapy works, what low-level laser therapy is, and whether it works at all.
How we make money
myhair.health earns an affiliate commission when a reader buys certain products through our links. We disclose this on every page carrying such a link and in the site footer, and we explain the arrangement in full on our affiliate disclosure page.
The commission does not decide our recommendations. We publish iRestore’s mediocre Trustpilot score, the fact that its bundles save nothing, the months it takes before anything happens, and the cheaper competitors with their real prices. We recommend iRestore for what it actually does better, coverage and a full year to return it, and we say plainly what you give up by spending less. A review site that never concedes anything is not a review site.
Our method
We verify every price against the manufacturer’s live product feed, tie every clinical claim to a published trial with its real numbers, and refuse to publish invented ratings, fabricated test narratives, or before-and-after photos. The full methodology is on our how we evaluate devices page.
Not medical advice
myhair.health is a research and review site, not a medical practice. Nothing here is medical advice. Hair loss has causes, thyroid disorders, nutritional deficiencies, autoimmune conditions, that no device will fix and that require a physician. If your hair loss is sudden, patchy, or comes with other symptoms, see a doctor before you buy anything.
