Description
This detangling hairbrush works knots out of wet or dry hair without the tug-and-snap of a stiff paddle brush. The bristles flex when they meet a tangle, so the brush gives way instead of your hair.
What it does well
- Bristles in two lengths: the longer ones open the knot, the shorter ones smooth the hair behind them.
- Straight, wavy or curly hair, fresh out of the shower or dry.
- The curved tail handle sits in your palm, so your wrist stays relaxed and you decide how hard to pull.
An honest note
A brush will not regrow hair or stop shedding. What a gentle detangler does is cut down the strands you snap yourself while brushing, and that matters most when your hair is already fine or fragile.
Start at the ends and work up to the roots in short strokes. Go slower on wet hair: it stretches more and breaks more easily.
